Apple to open new retail store in New York City with ceiling fans
Apple is about to open a new retail location in New Jersey that it says will be able to accommodate its giant, 8.7-foot-tall, big-screen displays, The Wall St. Journal reported on Thursday.
The Apple store will be located at 825 West 30th Street in Jersey City, a neighborhood that is home to a number of Apple stores.
The store will have a large glass-walled space with a large ceiling, which is supposed to allow for “big ceiling fans” to work in an airy space, the report said.
The store, which will be open in August, will have around 10,000 square feet of space for customers to use and will also include a new Apple TV set-top box and other Apple products.
Apple plans to open the store later this year, The Journal said.
In September, Apple announced a new partnership with the company’s Beats Music music service, including a new Beats headphones, an Apple Watch and other products.
