‘The farmhouse ceiling light’ will sell for $50K
The farmhouse is a fixture in many homes, but it has also become an unlikely fixture in the home decor landscape.
In fact, according to a report by the nonprofit organization FarmHouseCeilingLight.com, there are over 1,000 farmhouse fixtures on the market for less than $50,000.
“We’re excited to be able to provide the Farmhouse ceiling lighting for sale,” said Sarah Pate, CEO of FarmHouse Cylinder Light, Inc., which is based in Portland, Ore.
Pate said she is confident in the product, which is a collaboration between Pate and her husband, Matt, who designed the product.
FarmhouseCeilerLight.org reports that the product was developed using a “digital design process” and that it is currently available on eBay for $48.99.
The farm house ceiling light features a high-performance, flexible and durable composite, and is constructed of a metal shell, which can be tempered to meet the needs of different floor layouts.
Pate is offering the product for sale for $49.99, which includes shipping.
A limited number of fixtures will be offered for $60 each, but the most popular ones will be available for $75 each.
It will be interesting to see if the farmhouse’s ceiling lighting continues to rise in popularity, but at this point, Pate says it’s a great value for the time being.
“We know that the farm house has been a fixture for over 100 years,” she said.
“It is a symbol of a house that was constructed to serve a very specific purpose, and this product will make it much easier to find something you are looking for that’s more suitable for the modern home.”
