WATCH: Lowes ceilings ‘floating’ on ceiling
Lowes ceiling lighting is reportedly “floating” on the ceiling, and not on the ground.
According to a tweet from a reader, “I think the ceiling is actually floating on the floor.”
The tweet from @kate_lindsey added, “There are actually ceiling lights hanging down from the ceiling and they are floating on top of the ceiling.
It looks like the ceiling lighting on the floors is floating on them.”
Lowes ceiling lamps are a popular fixture in homes, offices, and retail spaces, but they can also be found in businesses and on ceilings in apartments.
A spokesperson for the company told ESPN that the company is “working with the homeowner to ensure they can safely and securely attach the ceiling lights.”
The spokesperson said it is currently “working to verify if the lighting can be attached to the ceiling without damage to the floor or the ceiling.”
“The ceiling lighting in this instance was not attached to a ceiling,” the spokesperson added.
“The lights are in a sealed, airtight container, and the lighting is attached to either side of the lighting with a clip or cable.”
Low and Sperry, which manufactures the ceiling-mounted lighting, did not immediately respond to ESPN’s request for comment.
